Lohri is the first festival that marks the beginning of the harvest season. It is celebrated within northern India, mainly in Punjab, and Haryana. Lohri festival is celebrated on 13 January 2023 by lighting a bonfire and dancing around it with friends and relatives. The people offer wheat stalk, rice, rewrite, jaggery, and popcorn at the bonfire.
