On September 5, 1888, Radhakrishnan was born in the Tamil Nadu town of Tiruttani. On April 17, 1975, he passed away, yet his lessons live on in people’s memories. When Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was elected as India’s second president, he educated many people. Radhakrishnan excelled as a leader, philosopher, and teacher. He mentored several pupils throughout his career with his wise comments. In addition to inspiring pupils in India, his advice was heeded all across the world.
