18 February- happy Mahashivratri

The festival of Mahashivratri will be held on February 18 of this year (Saturday). In Drik Panchang’s reckoning, the festival takes place on the Chaturdashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Magha. Devotees fast, perform a ritual bath called rudra abhishek, and offer prayers to Lord Shiva on this day.
