The IAS prelims and main examinations are slated for May 28, 2023, and September 15, 2023, respectively, according to the UPSC 2023 calendar. Candidates who intend to sit for the UPSC CSE in 2023 should begin preparing as soon as possible. On June 5, 2022, the UPSC Prelims 2022 were successfully held, and on June 22, 2022, the UPSC Prelims 2022 Result was released.

MAINS

Every year, the Union Public Service Commission holds tests for a number of Group A and a few Group B positions within the Indian government. The Civil Services Examination is the most prestigious and challenging test offered by the UPSC. The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 (Mains) pattern is shown here. Following the publication of the announcement, this page will be updated with any modifications to the test format or curriculum for the next UPSC Mains exam. Dates for the IAS Interview 2022: On December 21, 2022, the Commission released the schedule for the IAS Interview Date 2023. After the publication of the UPSC Mains Results, the personality test dates were announced. The UPSC Interview 2022 dates were announced by the Commission, and the initial round of interviews took place from January 30, 2023, to March 10, 2023. 1026 individuals were judged eligible for the first round. The second phase was announced for the following 918 applicants, and it ran from March 13 through May 21, 2023. The third round of the interview process for the final 518 applicants will take place from April 24 to May 18, 2023, according to a recent announcement. The 2529 applicants who passed this year's UPSC Mains must appear before the UPSC panel for the personality test. One of the most well-known tests offered by the Union Public Service Commission is the Civil Services Examination (CSE). Despite being a common exam for roughly 24 top government agencies including IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, etc., it is popularly referred to as the "IAS exam."

Nine papers will make up the written test (main), however only seven will be used to determine the final merit ranking. The candidate must obtain the minimum marks required by the commission each year for the other two examinations.
