Kumaraswami Kamaraj was an Indian Independence activist and politician.
He is popularly known as Kamarajar.
He was the founder of the president of the Indian National Congress (Organisation).
He served as the Chief Minister of the Madras State (Tamilnadu) from April 1954 to 2 October 1963
Kamaraj participated in the Nagpur Flag Satyagraha (1923-25) and Salt Satyagraha in 1930.
Kamaraj started the Sword Satyagraha in Madras in 1927.
Indian Postal Service released Stamp in his memory in the year 1976.
